I recently purchased a new production Eric Clapton "Blackie" at CG. It was brand new still in the box. I was looking at a used one on the rack, and the salesman said wait a minute, I think I can make you a really good deal. I walked out with a brand new Blackie for $1495.00. To me, that was a steal!

You can purchase on-line at all the stores (Musicians Friends, CG, etc), but they all have basically the same pricing. This would have cost me $2K on-line using the same store. Has anyone been able to get these kinds of discounts with on-line retailers?

been an excellent deal. I go there, they let me play
just about anything I want, and no hassles.
Glad I have 3 within 25 miles.

The other Superstore Sam Ash is just as cool.
