lokking for a little info
i am looking into buying a blues dvd lesson package this format seems to work well for me.
i have checked out many on line and learned a lot from there sample videos. however would like to get more indepth than the free samples.
i do not know if i can mention names here so i will simply ask has anyone bought these products and if so how did they work out for you.
any problems with shipping,quality,etc.
i consider myself half a step above a beginer have learned some cool riffs and scales but have seem to hit a wall. without buckling down for serious lessons and learning more theory. are these worth my while.
any insight would be helpfull.
thanks

So many out there...
Personally I really liked the ones Andy Alendort did for Guitar World and Keith Wyatt's.

If you are talking about the steviesnacks lessons I've bought a few
I picked up the entire series entitled
5 Essential Blues Boxes
5 Boxes Essential Licks
and a couple from the "Essential Fretboard" series so far.

I went the download route and burned my own DVD's

I like them for practice time, but they teach and work on only a very specific type of blues.
If you like SRV style then they are ok.

I've also picked up the 2 blues ones Andy Alendort did for Guitar world and some by Greg Koch.

(Ok I went nuts for a while buying video lessons (thanks Amazon and on-line d/l) because I was stuck indoors going stir crazy and wanted to hear/play along with someone. )

I'd say the video lessons have an edge than just trying to learn from books because they actually show you what is being taught.

If you don't want a live teacher they are not a bad way to go.
