I finally got my home oxygen yesterday. Too soon to tell how much good it is going to do me.

Yes. Last test I had showed that my levels were down to 87. Lung function down to 60%

To put it short, yes.

If your oxygen levels are low (lungs are not processing oxygen correctly), the use of supplemental oxygen increases the chance of the lungs absorbing oxygen into the body.

Oxygen is essential for the cells to work correctly. The cells will not get nourished correctly if the lungs are not processing the oxygen it gets from room air. This causes one to get fatigued easily. Increasing oxygen usually lets a person feel a little better.
