I have been using a Vox Tonelab SE, which apparently is no longer made. The only Footboard modeler they have now is the Tonelab LE, which I don't think has anywhere near the variations and sheer beauty of easy programming and real Tube Sound!
I play in Stereo, using a Crate Power Amp into a pair of 4x12 Marshall cabs loaded with Celestion G-12H25 speakers, or into a pair of 1x12 Genz-Benz Wedges loaded with Celestion G-12T70 speakers.
We play a wide variety of original and cover material, and this has been ideal to use in small clubs to larger venues (3000 seater in San Diego), and is VERY recordable.
I love it, and if you get a chance to try an old SE out, or even the "new" LE version, you can get ALLOT of Vox and OTHER Amp Heads and Cab mixes, along with internal effects and an FX Loop. The SE ran me a little over $500, and the LE goes for about $350 new.

Alain, that looks awesome and may just be the way to go...but I got a little side tracked and bought a 335, little black LP Special and some 90's to replace the hunerds with and a set of drums.





No offense, Folks, there's another DRRI in the other corner with a very Sweet Strat (& a couple GreTschs) in front of it, a Bj NOS and a Pj in the other rooms.
