So I've heard several of you mention going to guitar shows and am wondering: Are there any sites that advertise these shows in advance?

I've tried finding local events via google and thru the local paper and even asking around at local guitar shops. All to no avail! So how do you all find out about local shows?

There is one local show in my area. They post in Craigslist, and are having a show on Sunday.

Who was it that went to the philly show in the summer and posted about it.We;; I am going to stop at the upcoming winter one with a friend. I grabbed a mint ax from a store in Kentucky on ebay right after that show and the guys partner told me the ax I bought they got from the Philly show so there had to be some great prices as I know they had to make 4 to 6 hundred on me and I did not mind as I still got a righteous price.

Funnily enough, whilst seeking advice with my neck build. A trusted friend asked me if it was for the Cigar Box Guitar show in Birmingham (uk) this weekend. First i'd heard of it.

I've seen several ads on craigslist also. I don't think that many of them can top the NAMM shows.

Thats right Mr Bill you posted about the Philly show. Well I remember it left a lasting impression and have nade plans to attend the upcoming one. Are you going back Bill. It would be cool if we can get some east coast forum members to go up and attend at least one day. Anyone else interested in going up we could have a blast.

Hello Stratcat113,

Only about 1/2 hour from my home
so yep I'll be there. If past history repeats
the fall show is the better, with the holidays nearing
more vendors, movers, & shakers looking to stimulate the
economy. Here is a Link to directions of the show location.

Cheers.
