There was a thread about this amp awhile ago and I never heard of it before. I went to my local GC to try it out and I was impressed with what it could do. Normally I would NEVER buy anyting from GC because of all the times they've pissed me off, but it happen to be that an old friend of mine was working there and he let it go for $192.

My point is that I heard these things can be hooked up to cabs. I'd like to hook it up to maybe a 1x12 cab, but I've never used one before (a cab) so I was wondering if someone could explain the 8ohm 16ohm thing and if anyone ever tested the amp with one.

Thanks

This particular amp (which is on my wish list) is also available as a head with a matching Vox 12" cab so yeah it'll work quite well with a cab.

To understand the whole OHM thing with speakers and cabs, I had a read of this http://www.prestonelectronics.com/audio/Impedance.htm

Enjoy your amp.
