I'm gonna buy me a bulldog, watch my woman whilst I sleep.

Does anyone else play this song? I just got it down and it's a good one to throw into the mix. It's the first real solo I have "perfected" or fully learned.

Outside Woman Blues anyone?

Ha... wow, I haven't thought about that song in twenty years, but as soon as I saw the title it all came rushing back. Disraeli Gears had so many good tracks on it, and it was possible to work out the songs with comparatively little experience... but then they'd sound better as I progressed. Great songs for jamming, too. Thanks for reminding me!

This is one of the first songs where I could really hear Eric's "punched in" solo. (At least it sounds it to me?) The combination of the clean sound and sustain works well on this tune.

It did in 1929 when "Blind Joe Reynolds" wrote and recorded it I bet.

either way, the song rocks!! and the 1929 version had to be light years better!
