Try running an acoustic electric thru a Fender 900 deluxe. It should'nt work either without alot of feedback squeals but i have killed the feedback monster by playing around with the guitars built in phase switches and the amps eq and it really rocks. It sounds alot like a hollowbody played thru a fender twin. I really like it and when i want a more acoustic sound i just cut the OD and swith to a clean channel.

Went to a friends for a jam the other night. Played my Tele through his Peavey Bass amp (while he played his Les Paul through his Marshall) and it didn't sound too bad at all. Just had to roll off the Bass a little bit.
