Nothing is canceled. The backlash fro the guitar community and believe me our forum was one of the mellowest on them caused them to pull back a bit but everything is set to go. I believe there are even 3 different strat type models in the making. Just a very poor decision on Gibsons part that might even cause a few top brass members to join the unemployment line when all is said and done. I think die hard Gibson players were the most outraged from what I have seen. I also wonder if they ever thought about the fact that Jimi left the planet 40 years ago and a kid starting out today might not be that interested in a Jimi Hendrix starter guitar. As they might be more inclined to say -Jimi who.

bowl, I forgot about the Kiefer Sutherland Signature. How is he got a sig model anyway.

cvilleira

I don't think that would be happening because for me I couldn't care how well a guitar plays if it looks like crap then I'll pass.

Honestly, I'll probably pick one up don the line as an anomally if they hit market, just because I have a thing for odd guitars. Hence, my enthusiasm for the Squier Gibson knockoffs.

What do you think they will do with all the bodies and necks they have waiting to be assembled?

They could make a Stevie Ray Vaughan signature model...

And now, Experience Hendrix has removed all mention of the guitar from their website:

See I don't think they look like crap! The Black & Natural and the Balck & Orange are nice looking guitars.

When I think about it I cant even recall a Hendrix track that had a piano on it. Henry is going to line up the brain trust that came up with the idea give them a blind fold and a smoke and then BAM. But he is the one that approved this disaster so he should be man enough to turn the gun on himself and just step down.

Offhand I believe the title track to Are You Experienced had piano backing. There is more than just that one I think, but that's the only one I can come up with atm >_>
