Whats the fender piano? I think that gibson is acting crazy after the death of Les Paul.

It's official, after many bad/ugly guitars and decisions in the past few years Gibson has clearly lost it's mind and is driving itself into the ground full speed ahead.

Fine with me though, they priced themselves out of the working musicians budget awhile ago, I wish them godspeed in their descent.

I'm sure the Hendrix guitars have not been cancelled, Gibson is probably trying to remove any association with them. If you look at the pictures from when it was up on the Gibson site the box nor the headstock actually had "Gibson" on it. They will still manufacture them for Authentic Hendrix and "save face" with players.

I initialy thought gibson were trying to distance themselves from it. Unfortunately it looks like the thing has been ditched before release, it doesnt appear on the Authentic Hendrix site.

I wouldn't be surprised if it has been scrapped, I have not come across one person who thought it was agood idea.

What do you think they will do with all the bodies and necks they have waiting to be assembled?

I'm hoping that they finally wised up and are considering getting of Henry he seems to be the problem with Gibson these days and as long as he stays it will only get worse. If you look at the Robot, Raw Power, Zoot Suit, Eye, Reverse V, Reverse Explorer, Holy Explorer & V are prime examples.
