When does Fender typically change color availability for their guitars? Seems like its been awhile since any new colors were made available for American Std Strats...

I wish I knew Oldguy....One thing you can count on...There will aways be a sunburst, a black, and a white of some kind. Looking at it from a historical perspective they seem to introduce different colors every 2 to 3 years. I suspect that we might see some old 50's car colors come out depending on how their special edition daphne blue, surf green, and candy red? sell. They have a special edition surf green Tele with a matching Blues Jr. amp due out also.
Personally I'd like to get my hands on a maple neck graffiti yellow.

I wonder how long its actually been since new colors were available for an Am Std or Deluxe Strat?

07,08 they came out with Blizzard Pearl, Candy Cola Red, and Sienna Burst. I don't know if they were actually new colors but they were different. If they do have any new colors available it will leak out before the winter NAMM show because the reps will be taking orders.

Maple neck, graffiti yellow, short scale Jazz bass would float my boat quite nicely. Hey we're only dreaming here right?

Hey Kiss some dreams can become reality... I would prefer my graffiti yellow maple neck in the statocaster variety... They made a Strat in that color late nineties and they sell quickly on Ebay. I saw a custom shop Classic Strat in Graffiti yellow on there a couple of weeks ago but he wanted more than I could afford .

I'd like to see the Pewter or a silver variation return.
