Hello Waya,

I use it regularly,
as yet no problems,
knock on wood.

Cheers.

I had problems with them not supporting me in a bad deal for a pedal that turned out to be unusable...eventually the seller refunded, but not before accusing ME of breaking it.

Yes, I did. My son who was living here before going off to college used it and ebay and they suspended our accounts because apparently you can't have two accounts with the same address.

No warnings and I've been a memeber since '98 or so....just a quick account lock with no explanation....it was brutal to reach a human on the phone too!!!

It took me about 6 months to get my money back from them and now I won't use them at all anymore.

You may have heard about the um...bad paypal site? Just do a search for Paypal + (rhymes with ducks).

Paypal offers protection so you dont get burnt, but what they really do is sit on the sidelines while you put in a claim and battle it out with ever who it is that you had a bad deal with. I have had two bad deals in the 7 years I have had my account. Both times they were with sellers who had about 300 transactions and high ratings. So I know these guys did not want blemishes on there account. Both times it was an item did not come as described. I have to admit everytime I called them someone is right there to answer. So they say put in a dispute and make sure all your emails that you do with the other party are done on your ebay or paypal account. Do not send through your private email or they cant read them. The first guy I had a dispute with paid right away the second took a bit longer. After 25 days you can change from a dispute to a claim bur either way it is you who has to try to resolve the problem as paypal is just a ref on the sidelines watching which I have told them. But both times I had refunds in less than 2 weeks. So though the system is not the best I have never been shorted.
