This is a difficult one, it's so long ago.
It might have been Guitars On Fire by Nick Nantos and the Fireballers.
And I might even still have it. 8)

At the risk of getting myself flamed, I have to say that I don't believe most of you. We've had this topic before, and everyone seems hellbent on showing the world what discerning hard-rock taste they had as small children. I don't buy it. With that, here is the real first album I ever spent my own money on:

The Batman Theme by the Marketts

I bought it because I liked the TV show. Silly and kitschy, yes. But it did give me an early appreciate for surf music.

The first album I truly fell in love with was the original monaural pressing of Meet The Beatles that my parents had (and that I still have to this day). 8)

The first album bought for me was Pink Floyd--The Final Cut. The first album I bought for myself was Iron Maiden--The Number of the Beast.

Walk Don't Run by the Ventures.

Mr. Bill... my Blind Faith album had the "other" cover. The one that had a paper sleeve covering it.

I was 9 years old - KISS, Dynasty.

I SO wanted to be ACE! When they toured Australia in about 1980 (?) they played at a stadium about a mile from my house. I sat at my open bedroom window and listened to the concert it was that loud.
