Q: What do you do if you see a bleeding drummer running around in your back yard?

A: Stop laughing and shoot again.

The best single-note solo's in the history of the blues.

If not for his little brother, he wouldnt have made it out of the Texas club circuit.

Actually, my parents saw Jimmie Vaughan with the Fabulous Thunderbirds on tour with the Rolling Stones in the early '80s, in the Houston Astrodome, when Stevie Vaughan was still some unknown kid playing barbecue places in Lubbock, TX. He beat Stevie to a record deal too.

A guy goes into a guitar shop and asks: "can you give me a set of strings for my Gibson Hendrix Signature Guitar?"

The sales person considers for a minute and finally says: "yeah, OK. That's a fair swap."

Cheers - C

How do you double the value of a Gibson Hendrix Signature Guitar?

Fit strings.

Cheers - C

(PS At last! A guitar we can dump on without hurting anyone's feelings! :D )

B flat, D flat and F walk into a bar. The bartender says "We don't serve minors". So D flat leaves, and B flat and F have an open fifth between them

How many union roadies does it take to change a lightbulb?

What solo do you like, pal?

I tell myself that I don't want to take the time to learn solos note-for-note but I may not be able to if I tried. I did have some of Jimmy Vaughn's work down pretty tight and then I saw him live on TV. I have said this before, but he played like he was doing a fresh take. Like he never heard the record. I took that to the bank... :)

I've heard this one before except it went:

Q: How can you tell if a drummer is at your door?
A: The knocking is slowing down.

And another:

Q: What did the drummer say before he was thrown out of the band?
A: "Hey guys, I wrote a song!"

That's quite the compliment! You must think pretty highly of him. He's is a great player but I wouldn't put him above BB King.
