There's a chain of supermarkets here in AZ called Basha's. When I first
moved here, driving by one, I thought it said Bauhaus, ya know, the euro design outfit. But no, it's pronounced bash-uhz.

Anywayz, there's one a block from me and I'm in there all the time.
Last night in the middle of the oldies PA music, "oh Pretty Woman",
by Gary Moore played, followed by more canned oldies.

Tonight, some song by Buddy Guy was on when I got there, followed
by a song with a female blues singer, followed by some 60's oldies.

I was pushing my cart along, jaw open slightly, looking around to see
if this was registering with anyone else, but nope.

As I was going out, SRV was shaking that high, keening note in the outro
of "Pride and Joy". I wanted to ask about it, but was afraid they'd change
whatever it is. Maybe the mother of all American music is going mainstream.
Anyway, I thought you'd appreciate it.

Awesome! Here it's just normal 70/80/90's pop. In west Texas it's just country everywhere. It makes you want to hurry up and get your shopping done.

It's the same here in Middle Georgia. It's all country which ain't too bad since i like country but for rock or any other genre of music there's nothing on the local channels but 70's, 80's, & 90's pop or crap rap. Thank God for satellite radio.
