The EH Small Stone is a classic phase shifter pedal. It has that lush phasing effect compared to others. I have three of them, two from the 70s and one from the 80s. The current small stones sound very identical, but the older ones have a warmer sound to them, perhaps components have changed a bit over the years. MXR makes great phase shifters as well.

I'd try out both an EH and MXR Phaser, as they both sound a bit different, even though they are both phasers to me....Boss PH-1 & 2s are pretty good too, but are a bit pricey since they are discontinued.
