This is the best argument against extending the season to 18 weeks.
If you ask me they need to take a game away so this doesn't happen at the end of the season.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Colts end up playing the Jets in the AFC Championship.

And losing!

Hey, it's possible...kinda.

teams that rest players have done poorly in the playoffs plenty of times before. It could happen.
I wonder if the Saints can stop the slide they're on too.

They handed the Jet a playoff spot by laying down. Next week the Jets play the Bengals if they win they are in and there first game will be against the Bengals. That's a game the Bengals want so I think the Bengasl will rest there team next week against the Jets so they will play the Jets in the first playoff game. A gift to the Jets to play two preseason style games at the end of the season

Jets and Ravens win they are in. But now looking at the seeding I think the Bengals will be wanting to beat the Jets in the final game because the Bengals could end up having to play a 3rd. seed with a lose.Originally I thought differently but their are still ramifications to seeding from the finishes of other games. That explanes the move of the Bengals - Jets to prime time.

is anyone else a bit surprised by the giants' low performance this season? this seems out of character.

sweated out the eagles game, as usual. i wouldve cried if they lost, mainly because of how ridiculous it would've been, considering the way the game started, which was a great start. got damn lucky with Maclin at the end.

i miss B Dawk, shame he had to be a sell-out. he was lookin good in that game.

Yea the seeding is strange there's a reason for the Bengals to want to win but it depends on if the Pats win over the Texans. Strange year.

Surprised? Not really. They started the season with a new group of unproven receivers.

Vikings are down curving at the wrong time!!!! The Bears looked so bad in Baltimore last week loosing 31-7 but they handed the Viking there 3rd. lose in 4 games. Cutler better come around next year or Bears fans won't be happy.

So there was an agreement to show our Christmas pics when we could. I thought this would be the appropriate thread to post it.

Visited my brother in Phoenix, went to the game, then he surprised me with the Jersey afterward. It didn't get delivered until the day after the game, but still a very cool present. I'm actually glad to tell you the truth. The Jersey is very expensive to be getting popcorn all over.

Pics from the game:

It was definitely a very nice Christmas week.

I became a huge Bears fan, temporarily, on Monday night.

I almost feel bad for how much I want the Vikes to lose since they have Favre, almost but not quite.

I do the same thing with the Cowboys. I am a fan of any team that plays them for that day. Especially if they beat them. America's team my a@@!
