HOLYCRAPOHMYGOD.

I FINALLY GOT MY BRIAN MAY SIGNATURE GUITAR ON TUESDAY NIGHT AN HOUR BEFORE MY GUITAR LESSON!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8DDDD :D:D:D:D
IT'S. ABSOLUTELY. PERFECT.

No other words to describe it.

The sound is AH-MAZING, the feel of it is SO comfortable, the tremolo arm is SO sensitive and it just makes me shiver with glee whenever I use it, and of course it looks BEAUTIFUL. :D

Here's a stock photo of it:

And the page with the specs for it:

http://brianmayguitars.co.uk/the-guitars/8

I'll HAVE to take some pictures of the actual guitar with an actual camera(I took a whole slew of pictures with my cell phone the night after I got it before bed) and show them to you guys. :P

Then I'll have to take a video of me playing so all of you can hear what it sounds like. 8DDDD

Ever since I told Craig(my guitar instructor) and my classmates that I've been saving up for this guitar for what had seemed like forever, they asked each week when we had our guitar lesson, "Did ya' get that guitar yet?"
"No.... I'm still working on it."
Then, as each week passed by and another lesson was given, it slowly changed to, "I'm still waiting to see that guitar!!"
"I am too!!!!" :P
And since I got it an hour before my guitar lesson on Tuesday, I got to take it to my lesson and Craig was all like, "That HAS to be it!!" as he saw my fancy-schmansh new case(I payed for it in addition to the guitar). :P

Then I let him play it as we got into the lesson, and he LOVED it. "It's a very nice guitar!!" he said as he played various things on it. He later said, "That IS a nice finish," as he watched me play it at another point in the lesson.
I also showed it off to my fellow classmates, and they were all laughing joyfully as I selected the overdrive channel and made it all distortion-y and used the whammy bar. It sounded AWESOME.
Glen, one of my fellow classmates, kept commenting about how "pretty" it was and how great it sounded all throughout the lesson. :P

And, of course, all this week I've been bonding with it. I need to do all I can to help it get accustomed to its new life with the family.

The Brian May guitar is one of my favorites. I would love to have one. Probably one of the only guitars on the planet with a trem bar that I would consider. I am glad you are having fun...(Don't hold back! Tell us how you really feel!!!)

Seriously; great axe, and post the real pictures. :)

Very nice Khashoggi. i played one last year in a music shop for a few minutes and haven't come across another one. I would love to spend some time playing one of these. As a looong time Queen fan I would love one of these.

Looking at the specs it seems there are a lot of features I like, a wide nut (45mm), zero fret (i love my Gretsch with zero fret), locking tuners, short scale....

What does the short 24 inch scale feel like compared to Gibson 24.75 and Fender 25.5?? It must be very easy to bend strings on.

Every color is awesome, I wouldn't know which one to choose....

You seem happy with the guitar :D

Really beautiful and unique guitar. 8)

Can I ask how much for that bad boy? Also, you mentioned that you also bought a case ... so the case is extra?

Hello Khashogg1,

Very Cool,
That guitar is really neat.
Did you get it in a Jersey shop? Where?
Thanks for the pic.

Cheers.

Hey Khashoggi,

They have a used one over in Cherry Hill Guitar Center.
At $1299 I was forced to resist purchase but got a chance to
give it strum. Very Sweet.

That's a nice one to have in the stable.

Cheers.

Haha, thanks everyone for the awesome posts!! :P It's really appreciated. :D

The pics are still on hold--haven't had the time to snap a few pics then upload them. I know that sounds stupid, but with a whole day of highschool, homework as soon as I get home, then squeeze in some guitar right before bed is my typical day. :(
God, why does school have to be so long? Not enough time to strum in the day....

Pffft, I've already got the hair down!! :P I actually had that hair when I was a baby, but now since it's longer, it's still curly, but not as tight as it was as a baby. I had Bri's hair, though, which I'm happy about. SO. I guess I just need to cut it really short and see what happens....
