Post subject: why was there a price raise on fender guitar??

I know for a fact a few years ago i payed 349.99 for a standard telecaster from mexico and 549.99 for a lone star strat. they both raised 150$ in price is there a reason does anybody know? would love to know why.. i aint complainin both real nice guitars that i got a bargain on :D

Most stuff tends to do that. It's old news. I wish I sold my HRDlx before the price drop. :?

Try a search on "price increase" I think you will find about a gazllion (thats a lot!) opinions, comments, animosities etc. on this very topic.
