I made a mic shootout youtube video comparing a Blue Snowball Condenser mic and a 80s USA made Shure 57 mic. Can you all tell a difference? Which one sounds better to you?

The Blue (snowball) sounds better/more distinct to me through cans, although the 57 doesn't sound bad.

It's hard to tell because the person who made the video has so much of the background ambient noise on the recording - the noise from picking and strumming - you can even hear the click of the switch when he changes pickups. It sounds to me like he has the camera's mic up as well.

Yes, I just realized that I did have the videocam's mic on....oops! So I made another video " mic shoot out 2". I hope this one is better, mics are closed mic to the amp, about 6" and I made sure the videocam's mic was off this time. You can now hear difference, I hope. Check it out here,

Now the 57 sounds like it captures more of the amp's sound.

I agree. The AC4 is really a great little tone box.
