Call me old fashioned, but they get the job done nicely... 8)

I don't use the lights much, mostly medium and heavy.

the best picks i've ever used are my fingers. i've never spent an hour digging my finger out of an acoustic guitar...lol. other than that, the best picks i've ever used are these little no name picks that came with my guitar when i bought it... from walmart.

A few weeks ago I was cleaning out a forgotten cupboard and found an old Peavey heavy pick, tried it and it was brilliant.

I posted on a British forum asking if anyone knew where they could be obtained and from the replies it sounded as though no one in the UK bothers to try different picks. Most who replied couldn't understand why I was looking for one particular type of pick "Arn't all picks the same" type of answers.

Luckily enough I eventually found a shop that had some old Peavey picks in stock so I bought the lot. They are .88 blacks.

Dunlop Delrin 500 .71mm (the Pink Ones). theyre the best for bass, not too muddy, no scratching on the strings, and they hold up pretty well. ive been playing for 7 years and have only bought 2 packs of em, mostly cus i lose them.
