Ceri - I don't know, dude. I see a lot of unopened bottles. Let us know if you need any jamming buddies to make sure those don't go to waste!

Hi dgonz: well, that lot is long gone, but there's always plenty more in the house. You're welcome anytime!

Ceri,
What did you think of that Arrogant Bastard Oaked?

A little Chateau de Saint Aubin Bas-Armagnac. Coffee and fine brandy sitting on the porch looking out at a rainy morning...

Depends on what the $1 beer is for the day at the bar across the street from me. But usually a Shock Top brew does it for me.

Pernod, on ice in a highball glass.

:) I can never see a bottle of Pernod without thinking of the French cafe scene in the 1985 movie Gotcha!

"Per-NAWD ... a-victor-LOO!"

I was living in Berlin when that movie came out, and it contains many wonderful memories of the era for me. If you haven't seen it, you simply must! 8)

I was doing my Culinary internship with a French Chef and he got me into Pernod.
I also have some REAL (not that american legislature crap) French and Swiss Absinthes. I have a litle mini bar in my studio with a couple of bottles of each. But yeah I love Pernod, and Ricard....PER NAWWWW...yummy

A good Mai Taoi sounds awfully appealing, but I'm out of lime.

So, in the meantime.....

I'm taking the night off, but tomorrow it's back to Muddy Murphy's Irish Pub for a pint or two.

This week I'm bouncing back and forth between Lagunitas New DogTown Pale Ale and Victory HopDevil IPA.

Two lovely beers--I'd be hard-pressed to say which one I like better! 8)

Working on the laptop today from home. These Blue Moon - Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale's aren't too horrible. I'm not hating the last five or so too much :)
