I was thinking about buying another American Series Strat. The 100.00 rebate was enticing since its about to end. Had my eye on the Candy Cola with Maple neck. Could have gotten one for 850.00 before the rebate. That would have made it about the same as 2004 pricing. May be a long time before I could get one that cheap again, but I just really dont need another American Series Strat. I have a 2004, and a 2007. I guess I just wanted one with the new specs. I'm sure GAS will strike again sometime before Christmas. Maybe then if I still have the urge I'll take the plunge.

Randy I would have to agree. Go take some tums and hold off the GAS until something comes along that you dont have and really want.
