Get a nice chunk of basswood, and cut a copy of one of those oddball Japanese pawn shop things... a four-pickup Teisco, or something, and load it with the four oddest pups you can find, the more microphonic the better.

Master volume, mast tone, four on/off switches. Killer. :)
