Picked up a beginners finger picken blues tab book. But, what I'd like is one that lets you pick. Looking for something simple so I can work on technique. Specifically single note, simple chord accuracy. Plus I'd love to throw in some bends and get that bluesy sound, and maybe some improv.

Well, you could try the beginning part of Hendrix's Voodoo Child. It sounds better with wah, but it's not absolutely crucial. That'll get you started.

Also try AC/DC's The Jack, one of their early songs. Very bluesy and the solo isn't too hard to play, but very fun.

You can find the tabs at ultimate-guitar.com, along with basically any other song you want to learn.

Hope i was helpful. :D

Try Blues You Can Use. I found a copy at G.C. It sounds like exactly what you're asking for.

it depends on if you have a program for tabs or not. guitar pro costs money, but power tab is an infinite free trial download.

the ones people write out on the site are often wrong, but the ones you download for either program are usually pretty accurate.

It's a great book for beginners. You'll be bending by the second lesson.

Yes, $13.57 + shipping, also bought the Riding With The King.

That's a pretty good deal if the shipping is low enough. I'm sure I paid more than that at G.C.

Shipping for the book and CD was $4.95. If I spent another 46 cents shipping would be free.

I had some problems initially when I bought from a vendor through Amazon. But when dealing directly with Amazon I've had no problems. Bought the Guitar White Pages from them for a lot less than GC wanted. Even with shipping.
