My favorite Patrick Swayze film was To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar. He was brilliant as Miss Vida Boheme.

A stellar comedic performance in a role that most men wouldn't touch. Brilliant! 8)

R.I.P Patrick Swayze A fine actor and human being who was unmercifully hounded by the scumbag papparazi throughout his bout with cancer from the very start of his illness and showed true class and courage through it all. At least you will be remembered in life for achieving something that people enjoyed. While I hope those pieces of $@!& get it handed back to them ten fold.

He was the kind of actor that could do comedies or dramas and just be himself. And people came to see his movies because they liked him.

My favorite is Road House. I'll watch that any time it's on. He's had many good roles, though.

Although he fought the illness for a long time and it was expected, it's still sad.

Rest In Peace Mr. Swayze...

I nearly forgot about that one!

He was among a fairly long list of actors and actresses that, if they were in a movie I was probably going to watch it at least once. There's even a bit of "six degrees of seperation" going on, in a couple of his earlier movies.

He was in The Outsiders and Red Dawn with C. Thomas Howell, and he was in Red Dawn and Dirty Dancing with Jennifer Grey.

R.I.P. Patrick Swayze.

Matt
