What should you clean a Maple fretboard with?...personally, I think if you wipe it down, you're just rubbing the sweat into the finish.

The maple fingerboard is laquered so you wipe off,not in the finish.

I cleaned the neck of my old strat about 12 years ago,, my new one is only 4 yr's old so it dosnt need it. Both maple.
