Today, I've been listening to 'Elegant Gypsy' by Al Di Meola, it's an old one yes but just lay back and chill to this. It's a gem, Fantastic! if you haven't heard this, it's recommended listening in my view. 8)

Welcome back old thread! :)

The other day I found I had The Kinks Greatest Hits on my shelves - and had never listened to it! Bizarro! Anyhow, I gave it a spin and was amazed to discover that I knew ALL the tracks, quite well. I thought it would just be the half dozen most famous numbers.

Great stuff - recommended.

Cheers - C

The Surf Box

(4 CDs playing lyrically the history of the genre from pre-'60 through the mid 90s)

Especially essential if you are not a surf player.

Ceri,2 Christmases ago my wife gave me 2 box sets of the Kinks Arista and RCA recordings-all their 70s and 80s stuff a must have for Kinks aficionados.I have almost all their 60s songs on vinyl but need to get the CDs to as the vinyl has had extensive playing.
