All the main tracks were recorded at out real recording space. I'm re-doing a couple of vocals, guitar(s) and bass tracks. Our bass player was having chemo treatments and his concentration was off a little on a couple of tracks.

Yeah, but not tonight, my allergies kicked in around 3pm, I took a med when I got home, but it hasn't kicked in yet.

Yesterday I did a 6hr session, this was split between three songs, mostly vocal takes. We recorded the tracks live, and now here at home, I have to match the guitar breaks with the vocals. I have a punch-in/out options, so this helps.

I had to construct a small isobox, the Studio Projects C1 mic http://www.studioprojectsusa.com/c1.html is sensitive, it will pick up a mouse peeing on cotton .

I have six, well five more days to record. One of my granddaughter's birthday is Saturday, and no way will I miss the party.

WOHEEEEEEEEE, DO I HAVE A BUZZ GOING NOW!

I just got back from my doctor's office, I've known him since he was a intern at OSU Med Hospital. One of his eight brothers was a bartender at a club we played regularly.

My allergies have been kickin' my butt to the point where I have a infected tear gland. I told that I was feeling so bad that I couldn't record.

He gave me a B12/cortisone combo shot, but with a warning that I probably be bouncing off the walls tonight. It was just what I needed, I'm just waiting for a small pot of rice to finish cooking, it will go along with my pot of gumbo, before I start recording.

My wife gets home in three days, I want to get at least three more songs done by Sunday.

My paternal grandparents were from the south, I make gumbo so good, it will make you kiss your mother-in-law . The rice is almost ready.

Oh, if you sing, I recommend 'Thayers Sugar-Free Dry Mouth Spray Citrus Flavor' http://www.thayers.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=22&zenid=f370bee09308e7da6f31a645d6e7f238 for a dry mouth.

I'm a little dried up from the meds, and while I was doing my vocal exercises, before recording, my mouth was really dry. Thayers really works, and helps.

Reminds me of a Duane Allman song - "I haven't seen my wife in two or three years, I'm a happily married man".

It's not that bad, it's just that I get more done, without her comments. She was in the band before she got sick and wrote songs as well.

My wife is back, I picked her & her mother at 2pm. They had a great time, they haven't been home for five years. I fixed a pot of chicken 'n noodles for dinner. We just ate, and she's laying down.

I didn't get done with all the mixing I thought I would, you know there's a saying "When you want to make God laugh, make plans of your own".

Wow, after last night I was, I think she missed me  She was so glad to be home, that she didn't even say anything about all the gear boxes I had upstairs.

She did have a small problem with Immigration coming back into D.C., after be married for almost 20yrs, she still had her maiden name on her green card, but her Canadian passport has her married name.
