There's nothing I really need, and I don't have sneak any gear home. She know that I buy only what I need to make music.

Yep, that's me too. I like being with me. We've been married for 18yrs, before, I was single for 14yrs, sometimes I miss being single  .

Oh heck yeah! Last night I fixed Pad Thai, from scratch with those small Thai chilies, it was good.

I did get started mixing last night, after about a hour of moving furniture around, setting up the BR-1600, monitors, and using a SPL
http://tinyurl.com/momf2h for dead spots. My wife would freak if she see the dining room. She has our camera, so I can't take a picture.

I hope to finish two songs today, and two tomorrow.

I find playing alone to be like drinking alone, depressing as $@!&.

Music is to be shared IMO.

Hello,

Great news  I was wondering if there was any chance of getting a copy of your CD when it comes out, I thought your other CD on the website was great and I much prefer CDs than MP3s or alternative because I am getting a mighty nice blues collection. There is a blues club is the city that I live in but I have never been there before, I have been trying to find some blues music that is good and not as well known as the likes of the typical names associated with blues.

BTW I could pay for the cost of the CD and shipping etc. Cheers

What are you talking about? I'm mixing our CD, and I'm writing a song. I can only write by myself, not when my wife is around.

Yeah, we're getting a few hundred copies made, as well as on iTunes and Amazon.

Actually, I haven't even started mixing today. My wife's computer crashed the night before she left, I build computers and she had my 'older' computer. The hard drive was failing, it was a Maxtor 30GB, made in 12/2000!

I always do backups, and had her favorites, documents, email address book, pictures & music archived from last week. I already had a new standard EIDE WD 160GB hard drive here, so I installed a fresh XP-PRO, with updates installing now.

I wanted to get this out of the way, just in case it wasn't the HD, and if I had to run over to Micro Center.

I wrote five of the songs on our first CD, and wrote all the songs for this one. I can always tell when one isn't working. I should be mixing now, but I got another idea for a song and want to finish it today.

I have seven more days until my wife returns, I gotta keep focused, but I also need to give my ears a rest.

I borrowed my neighbor's camera and took a picture of my 'home studio', in our dining room. This would freak my wife out if she knew this I had all this on the table!

All the main tracks were recorded at out real recording space. I'm re-doing a couple of vocals, guitar(s) and bass tracks. Our bass player was having chemo treatments and his concentration was off a little on a couple of tracks.
