I don't know of any Jazz or Blues that haven't been mentioned but i can suggest some good Christian Rock bands that don't get noticed enough on the radio.

Needtobreathe
Skillet
The Golden State
Tenth Avenue North
Third Day
Casting Crowns
Diciple
Red
Demon Hunter
Showdown
Pillar
12 Stones
Leeland
Day Of Fire
Stellar Kart
Theres alot more but these are just off the top of my head.

Peter, not sure if you are a fan of Eliades Ochoa but I recently bought his Sublime Illusion album and it is a great piece of work.

I really wish BVSC would come out with another album.

You have been given a ton of choices for some great music so I am only going to offer up one album and artist and artist you might not of ever gotten into who is a players player and if you like high octane blues check out Gary Moore Blues Alive .It does not get better than this.

I personally think the best blues artist ever is Skip James. Check out stuff like devil got my woman, killing floor blues, etc. I dont know what it is about his music but I love it.

My favorite band going around now is The Dead Weather, amazing!
