Well, right now I'm bored listening to the same stuff I have. So I want to listen to some new stuff.I listen to almost anything such as metal, punk, thrash, jazz, blues. I wouldn't mind anyone reccomending some good jazz, blues, or rock n roll. But mostly anything that's good. Thanks.

I don't know how extensive your jazz collection is, but Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" and "Milestones" are two of my favorite albums ever. Both are great all-instrumental collections, and as a bonus both feature the legendary John Coltrane on sax.

Don't have a really big jazz or blues collection, but I would like to hear some jazz.

Well, good classic rock is my niche.

Queen
Pink Floyd
The Who
Led Zeppelin
Oasis

And some awesome classic punk:

The Ramones
The Clash
The Sex Pistols

You've heard of all of 'em, I bet, though.

One good new band that I can stand is Kisschasy.
They're a fairly new Australian band. :)

You're kidding me, right?

Stones
Beach Boys
AC/DC
Black Sabbath
Beatles
Robin Trower
Jimi Hendrix
Cream
CCR
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Funk-Rock)
Chuck Berry
Elvis
Byrds
The Small Faces
Jefferson Airplane
Bob Dylan is good even though he isn't really a rocker (listen to him for lyrical influence)
The Grateful Dead

Many more...

For melodic "pop" guitar played with skill, look for early-mid 1960s The Ventures, Duane Eddy, Al Caiola, Chet Atkins, Les Paul

Rock & Roll:

Chuck Berry, Chuck Berry, and my third suggestion would be Chuck Berry.

Keep in mind what is good to one may not be good to all. But here are a few I like,Al Di Meola, Land of the midnight sun- Stanly Clarke, School Days- Cacktus, One way or another- and anything by Captian Beyond. Hope this is some help. Good luck

"I was in a clothing store and this guy walks up to me and says, 'May I help you?'

I say, 'Yeah... do you have anything I might like?'

He says, 'How should I know what you might like?'

And I say, 'Hey.... you started it.'"
