I live in Tampa, Florida. What's "winter"?

Try to get one last boat day in the sunshine before storing it in my garage.

I always look forward to Halloween. With help from a special effects friend, we cobweb the whole yard and smoke it up till it looks like a spooky graveyard!! The kids love it!

I also got new ski gear last year, then promptly injured my arm, so I'm looking forward to that.

Heck, here winter goes on for at least half the year. Spring, summer, and autumn are very short.

Bikes go up on the hooks, lawnmower is put away - snow-blower comes out, is fired up and checked for reliability, screens are taken out washed and put away, long johns are carefully placed in the chest of drawers. Jackets, hats, sweaters, sweatshirts, turtlenecks, etc. are all resurrected from storage. It is a general metamorphasis around my place.
