It's been a while, but I wrote another song a couple days ago on a whim. Also on a whim, I decided to play lead with my American Standard Strat and Vox AC4 over my usual acoustic folk fare. Hope you all like, it's a really innocent love song.

Lyrics:
I'm lost in the morning
I'm lost in the night
Until I see your smiling face
I'm never really feeling right
Outside my window
A breeze it blows
Reminds me of the way you move so fast
Like a child sledding through the snow

And someday soon I will pledge my love for you
But until then I can promise you I'll always be your friend

I never could be without you
Never questioned your strength
Never once did doubt you
Never fled at the sight of a hurricane
Never been afraid of the rain
Cause when good times turn bad
I just remember the love that we've always had
I carry it round like a photograph
To remind me of my other half

And someday soon I will pledge my love to you
But until then I can promise you I'll always be your friend
The moon it is shining
While the sun takes a bow
Never needed much light anyhow
So long as you're around
But pretty words mean nothing
If there's no one to hear
No don't leave my side anymore
It's hard to speak when you're not near

And someday please will you pledge your love to me
But until then I hope you'll promise me you'll always be my friend[/url]

Jay,

Excellant song, another impressive post. You almost have enough songs for a CD (hint hint). I'd buy one.

Thanks guys. I was kind of concerned that the lead guitar was a bit too distracting and overwhelming. Thoughts?

I thought it complemented the song. The picture in picture was distracting on the video, but just listening to the song, it was good. Maybe in the future just use one frame, go between the two views.
