seb, would'nt think you would know that band unless you lived in Chicago in '65, the Strat in the pic is sunburst, the b&w photo makes it look all one color, your strat is gorgeous.

Welcome to the forum Sebatian ,Classic Strat and a Classic color. How is the music scene going out there in France. I know Poppa Chubby is pretty popular there.

Hi :)

In France, the scène is particularly underground. We can listen it in some radios but on the tele ... Not realy, it's rare :?
The teens listen to Rap and R'n'b .... The rock scene isn't mediatized.
To know the good rock's band It's necessary to go on myspace or on the forums.

Yeah, in France Poppa is pretty popular, It's present in the guitar's magazines, in the french's forums ... Not in Usa ? :D

Nice guitar Sebastian... Heard a few nice licks on You Tube. Don't be shy. You need to look up Alaine Lafrance...He's on this forum and a fellow Frenchman like yourself. :)

Welcome Sebastian and huge congrats on the fine, fine guitar.

In this opinion, the modern Mexicans, especially the 50s and 60s reproductions, are VERY close to what the original Fender instruments were like, when they were first made back 50 years ago.

Best wishes for much happiness and a grande love affair with that lovely Stratocaster.
