I personally can't wait to see it, but unfortunately, it's not playing anywhere near us. SO. I guess I'll have to wait for it until it comes out on DVD.... :P

I saw this film tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was only one other person in the auditorium: another middle-aged white guy on his own. We talked for a bit after the movie. Like me, he dabbles a bit on the guitar and has a wife with no interest in seeing this movie.

Jimmy Page makes the film in my opinion. I wouldn't have minded a film entirely about him. Failing that, I would have recast the other two guitarists:

As the effects whiz: Brian May (instead of The Edge)
As the blues seeker: David Gilmour (instead of Jack White)

Nevertheless, a very pleasant evening of guitar sights and sounds. At one point, Page plays a Telecaster with a Jazzmaster-style tremolo tailpiece... 8)

It sucks that it's not coming any closer than Atlanta to where I live :x
Oh well hopefully it'll make it to blue-ray DVD.

Jack White=worthless, the WS was beyond awful, I don't care if he can play guitar better than me, still can't stand him, just terrible

But how do I really feel? Other than that this looks interesting.

Saw it yesterday.

It was pretty cool, definitely worth seeing, if for no other reason than that Jimmy Page was in it.

The real strength of the movie is the three guys in it, but it could have been better, if the person who wrote the screen play had had a plan. To me it just sort of rambled...
