Has anyone had trouble with the United States Postal Service sending your American Standard Rebate forms back marked "return to sender attempted - not know unable to forward"

I bought a new Stratocaster and send my form in correctly addressed, but the post office does not recognize the P.O Box address in Pennsylvania that Fender specifies.

Oh..oh...this is not good. I just sent mine in three weeks ago, and I have not recieved any thing like that. I can see big problems for Fender if they typo the rebate address....BIG PROBLEMS FOR FENDER INDEED.....

Oneal, are you certain you have the correct rebate address? When did you send yours in?

Yes I absolutely had the correct address. Fender PR told me to resend it. I am just worried about missing the "30 days since date of purchase" clause on the terms of the rebate.

If you have not recieved you original letter back you are probably OK. Fender says it will take up to 6 ot 8 weeks for delivery of rebate.

My original letter postmarked 8/25 came back yesterday 9/3 with USPS return marked 8/29.

My just be a fluke.

Thanks a good luck. I think its a USPS problem. Fender is very good about their products etc.

I have not had my envelope returned, but I haven't received the rebate either - I submitted the paperwork a little over a month ago. I'd be curious to know whether anyone has received a check yet. Since it has to be requested within 30 days of purchase, I'm not sure what the remedy is if it doesn't show up - simply re-sending seems unlikely to work.

Following up my own post of earlier today wondering if anyone had received a rebate yet - I got home today and there it was in the mailbox. So, it would appear the PO box on the form is correct and rebates are flowing.

Just a suggestion, maybe you had some price protection, AmEx, or Guitar Center for example, that could work for you?

just put it on a debit card, don't like credit cards, don't like buying things i don't already have money for. again, i can't really complain....I got exactly what i wanted, and i'm even happier then i thought i'd be.
