Beats the hell out of me! I wouldn't be caught dead in NY, or any other crouded city.
Mind you, I'm only about 20 miles from the city of Sydney!

Australia is like that, small city's and lots of bushland and unspoilt beaches
around them. I sure do live in a beautiful country and appreciate it so much!
Some people just don't get it.

If you ever get the chance come over and have a look around, we are very layed back and nothing is urgent enough to cause stress.
"Ah F*ck it, it can wait till tommorrow, surfs up!" is a common saying around here. Most of us work to live, not live to work. A sicky, or day of work mid week is not uncommon.
