I got a post card in the mail, alas I have to work. I usually wait until later in the day any ways and let the mob die down.

I find that the stores are uneven with respect to stock. A lot of the Fender guitars we talk about herein cannot be found unless ordered by special request. That's basically how I get my gear from them. The bulk of the stock appears to be MIM focused in many locations. Like...I'd like to play the new Murray, but have never seen one on the wall.

Wow $799! I guess that supply and demand stuff really work. Kind of negated that huge increase back in February. There are some great buys out there now.

I went earlier today. They had a '65 DRRI amp for $840. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Of course, I tried out a FSR Telecaster and fell in love with it. I hate when that happens.... :D

I love your personal quote. It's also like "like calling a bank robber an undocumented account holder.

What does Mitt Romney have to do with Guitar Center? Does he have an ownership interest in this corp.?

That's because there's no vaccination against G.A.S. You have to keep away from sources of infection.

Guitar Center is owned by Bain Capital LLC, a private equity firm that was founded by Mitt Romney.

That's called the entrepreneurialism. You start up a business, have it do well, sell it to a major holding company for a gazillion dollars, so you can start acquiring a guitar collection like Alain's.
