All you have to do is ask highway1player/alwaystrat/strat2004 for a link or some evidence to support one of his more outlandish claims. You'll soon receive the reply 'its always the same two or three' (despite the fact its always been more like four or five) that grants you membership.

Even though I really like the Highway 1 guitar (own one myself), some of the claims he posted were ludicrous. So I think I will refrain asking highway1player/alwaystrat/strat2004 a link to his evidence for his claims. It was an interesting read...I just do not know how I missed the middle pages for that thread.

I like all Fender guitars, some more than others. I am trying to not stir any pots these days. I believe there is a FMIC guitar out there for anyone who wants one. BTW...I hope Fender does not discontinue the HW 1 series, but they will do whatever they want to do. I have not seen any proof positive Fender announcements about it yet. Regardless, I will still buy Fender guitars in the future. :D

My sentiments exactly. Its a great guitar that doesnt need to be defended as its not under attack. If anyone has any interesting links to Highway one facts please post em, i'd love to read em. It has to be facts though, not opinion or hearsay.

I'm getting burned with my mexican squire series strat. Told the kids to sell my other ones, i'll stick with my favourite. What i'd really like is to be pugged into my jcm800 when the box gets burned though.
