Earthquake just shook me at 14:55 (Western Indonesia Time)....the power was 7.3...around 50-70 miles from my location...

Quickly I ran out from my house, and stay outside for a while. Thanks God, my house was not damaged....

I was afraid this time could be same like what happened in December 2004 (Tsunami at Aceh, Sumatra), because the earthquake just few miles from the sea...but, 1 hour later, the Meteorology And Geophysics Organization, said that there will no Tsunami...

I live at Bogor, West Java, around 38 miles south Jakarta. Not too far from Galungung, but too far away from Tenger, Bromo, and Merapi, which is located at East Java and Central Java.

I live at Bogor, West Java, around 38 miles south Jakarta. Not too far from Galungung, but too far away from Tenger, Bromo, and Merapi, which is located at East Java and Central Java.


Galungung.......lovely history that one. Did a St. Helens once!

In 1888, bogor had no daylight. Black cloud all over the sky and dust rain every day.

Maybe someday I'll move to America 8)
