Well the record wasn't broken but the events & concert were great. Me & friend Travis, he gave me my first guitar 39ys ago, arrived in Shreveport Thurs Aug 20.

I took my GPS and we went to Shreveport Music http://www.shreveportmusic.com/. Wow, they have a great selection of Fender gear!

Friday night we attended the birthday bash for Mr. Burton, this was held outdoor with several bands. One very outstanding guitar player/band was The Louisiana Yard Dogs http://www.myspace.com/louisianayarddogs with Ray Ellender on guitar.

Ray is so good, that I considered quitting playing guitar on the spot! The Louisiana Yard Dogs also backed Joel Sonnier, and Albert Lee Image showed up as well. He had just recorded a album with Joel, and I have tell you Ray was not intimidated with Lee being on stage.
Jr Brown was also there Image, he's is a really nice guy.
Saturday was the big show, every one played great, but I was really impressed with Mike Farris http://www.mikefarrismusic.net/ and Kristen Capolino http://www.myspace.com/kristencapolino, she can play!

Tony, I hope you put some of the show on YouTube?

You really get around!

Not any part of show, but I did upload footage from the Guinness event:
Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-tIznFIVhA

Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHotQo4kr_M

Part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8DfnssUynw

As you can hear, my crappy $29 camcorder doesn't work well with loud volumes.

But I did record the concert using my ZOOM H2 (pls no private emails for a copy).

I see on YT that is some footagehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji6T1cffJdw&feature=related, I saw this person using a camcorder.
