I went from the standard CryBaby then went to the Hendrix signature (JH-1) for it's throaty-ness, sold it, regretted it and recently got the second version of the Hendrix (JH-1B).

Just wondering what the alumni's thoughts are cos I've been havin a blast with it all day.

Secondly, whats the best grease to use on the cog/pedal? My new one stutters a bit and there doesn't seem to be enough applied.

Thank you!

CC

I have a Dunlop Classic Wah. It has a slightly warmer, fuller tone than a Vox Wah which is what I was after.

I use a Moreley volume pedal combo. A very useful combo indeed.

I use a standard Cry Baby... when I bought it, the guy showed me a Jimi Hendrix Cry Baby. I asked him which one did Hendrix use? Just askin'...

Good question, I asked something similar and he didn't seem to appreciate my humor. (I do believe Hendrix used an old Vox, not sure he used a dunlop at all. but i can't be sure)

Anyway I purchased the second generation Jimi wah and i love it, I have used the Zakk Wylde wah and wasn't to happy with it. The wylde introduces to much treble and dirt.
