I seem to be getting a dead note when I bend the high E string on the 7th fret. When I bend this string the note just disappears  I have noticed there is some fret wear on the 7th fret and when I bend in other areas along the fret board it sometimes disappears aswell :( Any ideas what might be happening?

If fret is worn flat it deadens the string.

The string is trying to vibrate, but the first 0.5mm (or so) is effectively hitting the flattened part of the worn fret...

If a note cuts out, it is due to the fret above the one you are on being higher. In lesser cases, it can be two frets above. If you are getting this is several places, essentially there's three chief causes:

1. The action is too low for the fingerboard radius.
2. You have a reverse warp in your neck.
3. Your frets are uneven and collectively, a candidate for a grind and polish.
