No, life is not always fair, but that is life.

As a parent I can say that it's their money they can spend it as they wish.

Hate to say it dude but, my first guitar was a Gianinni classic guitar. The neck was wide as a 2 x 4 and the strings were a good 5/16" off the fretboard. I didn't get a decent guitar until I saved up enough money for one. You'll live.

Cool! Complain anytime. I am a father of 7 and grandfather of 4 so I have lots of great answers. LOL

$600 for a Colts game? I wouldn't pay that much even if they were playing the Raiders.

GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!

Consider it a lesson they are teaching you. Someday you'll have kids and once in a while you'll say screw it, we're spend money on ourselves for once!

I first learned to play a little bit when I was in high school on an old acoustic my mother had. No name. High action and the whole bit, but playing open chords and notes at the top of the fret board the action's not so important. For $200 you can get a Squier Strat and an amp. I made that kind of money all the time working fast food 25 years ago.
