Hahaha!

People just expected miracles from Obama. It isn't a year since he's gotten elected, and people are expecting him to make this country like it was 50 years ago.

But then again, to me, all politicians are the same and have one goal.

So far the in the last two months alone 88 American soldiers have been killed in the Afgan war. The media seems to have forgotten about our soldiers dying since there is no political reason to press the point on the public. It 's no longer under Bush's watch so theres no need.

No matter what your politics let us never forget these Men and Women doing what they are told and representing the United States in Foreign lands and making the extreme sacrifice in the line of duty!!!!
This silence is deafening!!!!

omg you americans are crazy! for gods sake dont you understand that all the wars usa do are meaningless ? id rather pray for the thousants of afgans died in this stupid war rather than american soldiers that went to the war only for the money or were brainwashed enough to believe that this war was worth !
sacrifice is when you die for your country to protect it, not fighting a bounch oh hepless people....
this is unacceptable...

I am neither pro-Bush nor pro-Obama...And I feel we (America) need to protect our own borders and help our own citizens before interfering in other countrie's business. But it was Osama Bin Laden that started this crap ordering those planes to be flown into the Twin Towers, Pentagon, and the White House...RIP the passengers of that flight for stopping that particular part of the plan.

Again we are not fighting the Afgan people, just the Taliban. It is the Taliban that is hiding in Afganistan. We would not be there if the Afganistan government and non Taliban-supportng people were strong enough to rid their own country of these people. Again you cannot fight a person or people with a cause unless you are willing to get extreme yourselves.

Where next to fight the Taliban though? Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia??
All have a strong Taliban influence as does the majority of the nation of Islam. In fact Taliban is another name for school or education throughout Pakistan. If we think invading a couple of nations and seizing control is going to end that were a shower of dreamers. I could remind you of the guerilla tactics employed by the viet cong but forget that, closer to my home we had the war in Ireland thats now thankfully coming to a rest. All were going to do by maintaining a presence in that area is be target practice.
If anyone really thinks Osama is hiding out in the Afghani mountains needs to review Osama's medical condition. He has a real bad kidney problem and is on dialysis nearly 24 hours a day (that was 04).
Sounds a bit far fetched that he's running up and down mountains evading our military.
The whole invasion has nothing to do with democracy or even avenging 911. Its about control and oil. Our governments wont allow a all out attack knowing it would result in torched oilfields all across that area of the world.

I think Osama has been Dead for a while but the taliban leadership will never let it be known because he is a rallying point. There is still a structure of leadership among the Taliban.

Nik,

That is my point. You cannot fight a religious belief, unless you are ready to go in to the struggle whole heartedly. We (the rest of the world) are not ready for this yet. It is hard to express sarcasim within the typed word, but that is what I wrote. The name for the action I spoke about (if we are going to the extreme) is WW III. I do not want this, but the Taliban are hell-bent on bringing about the next Big War.

And yes, within hours of the 9/11 attack he was in the hills of Afghanistan. No I do not believe he is there now. And to be honest with you, with his kind of money, he could be any where. Do you think he is truely cut off from his father's money? I am well aware of his medical condition. Also there are Dialysis machines that are small enough that could be easily put in the back of a small pick-up truck and lugged around. That is if he is alive to actually need it. A C.A.S.H. (MASH) unit carries one just in case it is needed, and they are a mobile hospital unit.

All what I said needed to have happened within hours of the 9/11 attack, not almost 8 years later. We need out before the next Big War begins. You cannot liberate a people who do not want it.

Hypocrite much?

You got to be kidding the media pick apart everything Bush and Cheney did!!!! My God Obama can do no wrong in the media, He gets a walk on everything he does. Everything is because its worst then they thought wasnt Obama in the Senate and didnt learn anything in his short time there  You say anything agaist this boob your racist or a conservative nut well its not like that. I did not like either of the two we had to choice from in the last election so I just voted experience and hoped for the best. and the heck with a good speaking talker This guy is in over his head he is a great speaker and campaigner which by the way he has not stoped doing yet. But he has no Federal or State leadershiip skills at all. His skills are in community organizing, Accorn politics get out the vote Aclu civil rights lawyer. Thats how he has made a living. He spent 6 years in state legislature and not even half a term in U.S. Senate what great experience to be President!!!! Well just my point of view one of a bazillian view points.

Looks like were reading from the same songbook. 'You cant liberate people that dont want it' is entirely my point. To inflict what we call democracy on a whole area of the world who's religeous belief and social structure will not allow them to accept it, is so absolutely arrogant of us. Its hardly any wonder they hate us the way they do.

Your right we need out now, or to absolutely flatten the place with a zero percent survival rate.

CV i agree that he's been dead for a while. There have been a few suspect video's of him around 05/06. Muslim friends tell me must have been filmed years ago cos he's got black hair in em, muslim religeous beliefs frown upon men dying there hair.
This gives some insight into it. Its not forbidden but black hair dye is frowned on.

I think the whole affair stinks from both ends. Its a well known fact that the Bin Ladens and Bush's were business partners/aquaintances and regularly entertained each other. This whole wars so full of lies that no one knows what truth is anymore.

War is business, and the international bankers are clapping their corrupt hands
Why do nobody seem to wonder why the same people own the banks, weapon factorys and broadcast stations..? Too much of a coincidence

It is indeed a sad world we live in when millions blindly support the private mans quest for profit regardless of the human sacrifices involved in doing so

But yes, my love goes out to whoever is making the sacrifices in the worlds biggest game of monopoly!

The war is not supposed to be won, it's supposed to be sustained, like 'nam, that's way more profitable

'Pray for them and honour all who fight for and defend freedom, daily, personally. Every day.

Whether anyone here wants to acknowledge it or not, there are many, many tens of millions of people who want to see everyone who does not agree to see things their way, "converted," enslaved or dead. Those are the options, period.

Personal feeling; become a service person if you can, support those who are, however you can. Your freedom has been and is beingg bought for you by their endurance...and sometimes, maimng and death.
