Even though we already had a thread on this subject, here they are in order. Nothing to debate:
1) Scott Gorham/ Brian Robertson -- Thin Lizzy
2) Pat Travers/ Pat Thrall -- Pat Travers Band
3) Perry/ Whitford -- Aerosmith

Plenty to debate, rather.

I go for Dickie Betts and Duane Allman. Or Ted Turner and Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash.

I'll pretend the title says favorite instead of best. Best is so elusive, but I can be 100% certain of my favorite.

Gorham / Robertson - Thin Lizzy
Murray / Smith - Iron Maiden

Chester and Lester. NO duo ever came close to sounding anything like them.

Theres already a thread on this!

Izzy Stradlin and Slash.......all the way, 2 completely different players with amazing interplay.

Stradlin has to be in the top 10 under-rated players too.

I'm also baffled, that was a collaboration, they werent a duo in the sense of what we're talking about.

Or maybe even Hendrix and Rhoads?
