I'm nearly finished with Tightrope (SRV), The House is Rockin' (SRV) and Butterscotch (Freddie King). I've started work on another Freddie King instrumental and I'm trying to work out some Jimmie Vaughan songs too.

But the main thing I'm working on right now is getting my song down tight for the King of the Blues store final. I have lots of tweaking that I need to do.

And I have a gig coming up tomorrow with my praise and worship band. So I have band practice today.

Hello Silverbursted,

Working with my son on a Jack Johnson tune
Banana Pancakes. It's fun.

Here is a link to a video that's helping, there are
actually 2 more vids that go with it, they're on the
side menu.

Got semi-inspired by the McCartney concert Wednesday night so I'm just sort of noodling around with McCartney tunes and anything else that comes into my head.

Atm practicing some Bach pieces (A Fugue in D minor and something else I think it's a lute arrangement or something). As soon as my parents leave I will resume practicing some Pantera ^^

Runnin through a Beatles book. When you get to the 200th song, even though your hands may be numb, you wanna do it again.

Pantera is good. Bach can get a little dull.

Actually that can be really rock-n-roll. Yngwie Malmsteen plays a lot of classical music with a metal twist.

True, usually once Bach starts feeling a little repetitive I do my best to try (emphasis on try) to play a few flamenco pieces. Still trying to whip my thumb into shape >_>

edit: Yeah, Yngwie's f***ing insane. I've tried my best at some Paginini style licks, but at this point trying is all I can do ^^

I suppose I should answer my own thread too.
I have been doing mostly my own arrangement. I had several noodles that I have been able to put together that is actually starting to sound good. My buds and I always seem to migrate back to Scorpions, Sabath, and Kiss when we get together. But it's all good therapy.
