Hey all, I recently bought a 60's Player Strat neck. It came without tuners or bushings. From the discription it is a CS Greg Fessler designed Strat with vintage style tuners...my problem is that i have tried to fit vintage tuners - the bushings are to small for this neck. I ordered the modern sized bushing for the vintage style tuners - these bushings are too big for the neck. Anybody know what these necks are drilled for??? My new Strat is built and awaiting this final step...thx.

For vintage tuners, it is 11/32".

maybe a previous owner messed up your mounting holes?

I mean, he might have drilled them some weird size and when his tuners wouldn't fit, he sold it.

You'll have to drill or preferably file the headstock for the bigger bushings. Be careful with amount of pressure to not split the headstock.
