Mrs mondo recently gave me this strap by Chantal Cordey:

...I've hardly put my guitar down since I've had it — I wouldn't have believed that a strap could make such a difference to the whole playing experience. She uses hide from the shoulder of the beast, so it won't stretch out of shape; the cross-grain on the leather seems to mold it to the body more effectively. I like the unlined leather, myself, as it grips well if I shift my guitar up to play some stretchy chords. It's not soft, it's rugged yet supple.

Vegetable tanned, hand stitched, made like a saddle... perfect! I really like the Pelham hook fastening. Easy to get the right length without any messy buckles or additional strap holes — an elegant solution, with no metal involved apart from the little hooks themselves.

Her deluxe and custom straps are incredible, but I like the utility of this one for a Strat. Thanks, Mrs mondo! :D

I just use an Ernie Ball strap for my only electric. It's a nice fit, and it sometimes falls off, but that's because of my crappy strap button. I gotta get a strap lock. :)

Maybe a more comforrtable strap will do.

My black strat has a black leather strap with metal pyramids all over it. My Jaggie has a white strap with black skulls on it, My jazzmaster has a woven orange and black strap, I have some others too, but those are the main 3 guitars I play.

Using,
2 inch black leather strap that came with my strat and the straplocks that came with it.
Cheap Fender logo strap for may acoustic, that I almost never use for it.

Always searching around shops for either a real (not likely) or replica of the "earth III guitar straps" SRV used.
Not the silly imitation jokes put out by LM and Levies I keep finding everywhere.

I've got a couple of nice leather ones with rawhide trim, but it's still usually the Fender woven ones or a Neoprene Comfort Strapp.

I use a gretsch Vintage strap
https://www.audiolinks.com/tek9/images/ ... dStrap.jpg

also Levys

and

I only use the Gretsch strap once in a blue moon. For the most part I use Levys because they are made her locally. may even get them to do a custom one down the road.

One of my straps came with one of my Strats-one of the black ones that has a pick holder, two are woven with the name of my local store (one black and one brown),and the last one is a woven strap with an indian weave design that had "Gibson" inprinted in the leather strap holder end. I have a nice leather strap I bought over thirty years ago and paid quite a bit of money for. Unfortunately I can't find it. The local GC has some cool Beatles straps. Yellow Submarine,Revolver, and the famous pic of the Fab Four posing vertically with part of their faces shadowed out.
